The iRobot Roomba 980 Robot Vacuum Cleaner
Robot vacuums eliminate pet hair, lint and dust from the floor before they can settle. They can also stay clear of obstacles like furniture that is unstable and stairs.

Most robotic vacs require some maintenance, such as emptying (and occasionally rinsing) the bin, and wiping sensors and cameras. Also, they have to be plugged into an electrical source. Many come with smartphone applications for scheduling, adjusting setting and more.
Roomba 980 from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba 980 is the most recent in the series of top-of-the-line robot vacuum cleaners that are a staple of any modern household. This model is equipped with a HEPA filter that can help those who are allergic. On click to find out more of that it also has a strong battery which can clean for up to two hours and it automatically returns to its dock when its bin is full.
It also has an option called smart mapping that uses multiple sensors to identify the areas in your home that require attention and create a cleaning path around them. This technology is extremely effective at navigating around toys that are left on the floor or furniture legs sticking out from underneath objects. It also comes with a sensor that can snap Roomba to its real-world location if it begins to wander away from its initial location.
iRobot has also added the option of rolling rollers under the Roomba that do not have bristles, and are therefore more likely to resist tangles than previous models. They're also taller than previous rollers and are able to fit under low couches and beds and are designed to help this model navigate more easily across different floor kinds.
The Roomba 980 is distinguished from other models of high-end quality by its brand new dirt detection feature, which uses cameras to detect dirt embedded. This is a significant improvement over the previous model, which relied on the sensor-driven pseudorandom cover method to bounce around the room and clean at minimum three times from various angles.
The Roomba 980 performed well in our tests on both carpets and hard floors. It scored very well on low-pile carpet and also on mid-pile. It did a good job of picking up pet hair, but it had a difficult time with extremely thick and long pet fur that was stuck together.
Despite these slight limitations, the Roomba 980 remains one of our best-performing robots, and isn't even close to being as expensive as the other top-of-the-line models on this list. It has a lot of features you would expect from a flagship model, but it doesn't have all the fancy apps and smart home integration that you'll find in other top contenders.
The iRobot Roomba can be set up in a matter of minutes and is ready to use immediately. After taking off the pull tab for the battery and yellow bin insert from its undercarriage, all you have to do is plug it into its Home Base docking station or an outlet on the wall, press its big "Clean" button, and let it go to work. It will return to its dock when it has run out of batteries or is full of sand. There are also indicator lights on top that show the bin is empty, when it needs to recharge, or if it loses Wi-Fi.
